Steps are underway in upgrading 6500 windows, installing new air conditioners and new heating systems that can adjust to demand, at the Empire State building to make it cut down energy consumption by 39%. The Clinton Climate Initiative, the project’s advisor is helping this 1931, 102 storeyed building go ‘green’.
